metal fabrication processes and technologies that are most appropriate and
cost-effective for the manufacture of company products. Maintain current records
and share metal fabrication process standards across Rockwell Automation
facilities globally. Lead teams to create standard fabrication processes.
Support metal stamping, specifying, building and qualification of tools for
global facilities. Create business cooperation in optimizing standards and
equipment globally, while ensuring the application of technologies. Establish
solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the
manufacturing process and manage resolution of issues of diverse scopes where
requires evaluation of identifiable factors. You will report to the Manager
Fabrication Services Your Responsibilities: Research develops and implements new
metal fabrication technologies for applicability and cost saving potential. Work
on complex issues varying in size, where analysis of situations or data requires
an in-depth knowledge of product lifecycles, NPI, and manufacturing
systems/process design. Demonstrate selecting methods and techniques for
obtaining solutions. Ensure engagement with main project partners, sharing
knowledge based in facts and logic. Identify project risk. Oversee process
governance and process change management. Educate other departments
(Industrialization, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and Departments) on
standard processes that are developed for Rockwell Automation and, where
applicable, promote re-use of processes. Critically evaluate main factors (e.g.,
costs, benefits and risks) and all reasonable alternatives before making
decisions. Help translate vision of a desired future of product manufacturing
into clear priorities and practical plans for achieving that vision. Move
problems towards resolution when encountering obstacles, uncertain conditions,
or situations where lack of data or conflicting data means that there is no
clear ‘right’ choice; help others do same. Create successful execution of new
projects by fulfilling individual responsibilities. The Essentials – You Will
Have: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, related field, or
equivalent education. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in related field.
Experience leading large manufacturing projects and developing assembly
processes. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills. Measured
results in continuous improvement and techniques. Lean and Six Sigma project
experience. The Preferred – You Might Also Have: Knowledge of metal stamping
tooling design or process. Experience with multiple cultures.
Engineered-to-Order process experience (or high mix, low volume). PMP Certified.
Multi-lingual, Lean and Six Sigma certifications. The ability to travel up to
