Job Description

Our Monetization Strategic Finance team is searching for a strategic and
results-driven Senior Associate of Strategic Finance, Marketplace Performance
for LinkedIn Sales Solutions (LSS). This person will partner closely with senior
R&D leaders to craft our long-term term strategy, drive focus efforts on top
priorities and shape the future growth of LSS. A strong candidate will be able
to demonstrate a track record of strategic insight, analytical rigor, and
synthesized communication.

The role is highly cross-functional, blending strategy & execution, creating
clarity and speed to execution of needle-moving corporate priorities. The ideal
candidate will be passionate about solving highly complex ambiguous operational
and strategic questions within LinkedIn’s R&D team and has exceptional business
acumen and the skills to operate autonomously to identify, prioritize, partner,
influence and implement high-impact change.

Responsibilities:

* Identifies new opportunities for growth, makes novel strategic
recommendations, and drives strategy development for the member ecosystem.
Ensures pressure testing of opportunities and the consideration of trade-offs
and implications across functions/organizations.
* Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of
initiatives by providing a metrics- oriented perspective, with minimal
supervision. Builds collaborative relationships with other teams and seeks
input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and
constraints. Communicates with stakeholders to answer a wide variety of
complex questions.
* Communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) to
management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.
* Executes ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address ambiguous
or complex business questions, deriving actionable insights from results.
* Independently create, manage and update forecasting models for products,
initiatives and the broader LinkedIn ecosystem, in close collaboration with
Product teams.
* Demonstrates a growth mindset and champions cross-functional collaboration,
aligning with LinkedIn’s values of transformation, integrity, and putting
members first.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field
AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management
consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* 1+ years of experience in the technology industry
* SQL experience
* Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity,
strategy or an operational or growth role within a technology company   
* Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to independently seek
information, solve complex problems, mobilize resources, and drive outcomes
in dynamic environments
* Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
* Strong analytical skills with experience breaking down and solving real-world
business challenges
* Concise and effective communications: You’re able to articulately present and
debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
* Basic understanding of B2B sales processes and terminology

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $117,000-$156,000. Actual compensation packages
are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but
not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work
location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the
cost of labor.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual
performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive
