looking for a Senior Product Compliance Engineer to join our team in Katowice.
As a Product Compliance Engineer, you will driving certification work for the
monitoring, support and adaptation of existing certifications and new approvals
on automation products. With your expertise, you will also support employees on
standardization requirements on multiple certification bodies. You will be also
serve as interface to the relevant certification bodies and participate in
cross-functional projects. You will report to the Local PCB Test Manager and
have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland. Your Responsibilities:
Ensure completion of product development compliance deliverables associated with
UL/CSA, IEC/EN and other global/local standards and their derivates, and
environmental regulations like RoHS and REACH, including compliance assessment,
design review, certification and test plan creation, documentation and process
implementation for new product development introductions and also continuation
on existing products. Serving as the primary product compliance interface with
domestic and third-party safety agencies (such as UL, CSA, DEKRA, FM etc.),
marine agencies and also HazLoc environment. Participating in / lead projects to
enact changes to products and processes to ensure compliance to new or changed
product safety certification requirements and product environmental regulations.
Work with internal organization to monitor and analyze regulatory trends and
positions and share information with impacted business groups. Support strategic
sourcing and Rockwell Automation suppliers to ensure that the supply chain is
positioned and responsive to support Rockwell Automation compliance programs.
The Essentials – You Will Have: BS degree in Electrical/Electronics, Industrial
or Computer Engineering or related technical field with knowledge in the
application of basic engineering and manufacturing principles, theories, and
techniques. At least 4 years’ experience in Manufacturing/Development
Engineering Organization in an electrical/electronic manufacturing organization.
Fluent English Demonstrate ability to frame and manage and with high quality, a
large quantity of ambiguous or complex work. Experience in product and
environmental compliance, electronics/EMC, testing and new product development
processes, with focuse on Bloototh and NFC technology. English: B2/C1 The
Preferred – You Might Also Have: Knowledge of Office tools and SAP rounds off
