    Creative Strategist

     

    Responsibilities:

    The Creative Strategist role is focused on helping to develop and execute a
    creative strategy for our Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok ads clients.

    We generally work with clients looking to scale their business and increase
    profitable ad spend. We rarely work with clients with less than $1 million
    yearly revenue. Our clients spend $30k/month up to $2 million on Facebook and
    Instagram ads. Often, we see the good, new, and fresh creative to get our
    clients’ ad accounts to the next level of scale.

    On a day-to-day basis, you will develop creative ideas and facilitate the
    production of raw assets as well as utilizing previously created assets. You
    will task our editing/design team to create these designs/videos. You will work
    closely and report to our Creative Operations Manager. You will also work
    closely with our media buyers. Our media buyers have a wealth of information on
    these accounts. Analyzing the data from their creative tests and meeting
    frequently with them is crucial.

    Essential Functions:

    Authentic Concepts and Creative Thinking:

    * At Smart Marketer, we specialize in coming up with authentic and novel ad
    ideas. To be a good fit in this position, we will need someone that can think
    outside the box, write copy and scripts that are authentic and human, and who
    can come up with creative visualizations as well
    * This means more than copying competitors or trends; it is truly understanding
    the emotional wants/needs of the audience

    Data & Research:

    * Using data, research and creative insights to develop effective (winning)
    creative strategy
    * Using AI for effective and deep research
    * Reviewing data in platforms like: Meta Ads Manager & TikTok Ads Manager
    * Performing market research (consumer insights, competitors, benchmarks
    trends, etc.) and using information to inform the creative
    * Analyze results from creative test and use them to iterate and/or develop new
    ideas
    * Using this data to come up with avatar profiles for the purpose of deeply
    understanding the avatar being targeted by the ads produced

    Creative Collaborations:

    * Develop/manage relationships with both internal and external partners. This
    means that many considerations must be taken into account when ideating
    creative, so special care is to be given to client considerations while
    maintaining creative integrity
    * Working with multiple teams of creatives (Content Creators, Editors, Graphic
    Designer, Media Buyers, etc.) to execute creative strategy & produce top
    performing ads
    * Develop new (big) ideas for our client brands & exercise creative writing
    skills for scripts
    * Participating in/on client calls and providing feedback/insights into
    creative
    * Executing overall creative strategy under the direction of Strategy Lead(s)
