Beetroot, a Swedish-Ukrainian tech company with a social mission to create a better world, is growing quickly. One of our core strengths is our home feeling in all of our locations and very people-centric culture. It’s getting increasingly difficult to transfer what we stand for into online format, so we are looking for a Community builder and Event Wizard to help us experiment with creating true Beetroot feeling even on remote via our internal events. You will have space to experiment and try out different ideas and a supporting team of professionals working alongside you towards the same goal.
Responsibilities:
— Learn as much as possible about Beetroot, its drives and passions and create a plan of how to connect people on bigger events and in smaller communities
— Create a strategy of internal events for the year and a more detailed plan for coming months
— Work alongside HR and Marketing teams to design events for different groups of Beets (teams, units, all Beetroot)
— Consult with other teams on how to make their regular meetings and surveys more engaging
— Review our bigger calls and meetings and help us to update their formats
— Gather feedback on everything you do to improve and experiment in finding the most formats, tools, communication platforms
What we’re looking for:
— 3+ years of experience of creating engaging event, including online
— Expertise in how to connect people and build smaller communities inside a bigger ecosystem
— Experience working with different online platforms to create more engagement for all activities you run
— Drive to constantly experiment and learn — you constantly check what other companies are doing in your field and thinking of what you can use in your work
— Wide field of interests and innate curiosity of what motivates and drive people
— Great listening skills and openness to feedback
— At least intermediate English
— Strong project management and communication skills
Bonus:
— You love borsch and/or Swedish meatballs!
— Have concrete experience from outsourcing/IT or similar tech fiel
